How Online Garden Design Works
Five easy steps!
It’s all done online, so it doesn’t matter where in NZ you live. One of our down to earth, kiwi-based designers will work with you on our digital platform to create you a personalised garden design, developed following five easy steps.
How we Develop your Garden Concept Plans
Stage One: Existing Site Plan
First, your garden designer will first draw-up your existing site plan using either existing plans or the measurements you have provided along with your photos, coupled with land information data they will source online.
This lets you confirm our interpretation of the existing landscaping and site conditions. From this we will develop your landscape concept plan.
Stage Two: Draft Concept Plan
Then, your Garden Designer will produce a draft landscape design incorporating the key landscape components you have requested from your completed wish-list, overlaid with their expert ideas.
This is then reviewed together in a scheduled on-line screen-share meeting, to ensure we are on the right track and to resolve any uncertainties.
Stage Three: Developed Plan
Next, the developed Garden Design is finalised, based on your feedback during the on-line meeting. Final design and garden layout adjustments are made to the landscape plan.
This then forms the basis of your garden concept, which will contain the more detailed information on ideas, materials and components shown in the plan.
Final Stage: Finalised Concept
Your finalised concept will be supplied as printed hard-copy documents and emailed as a PDF.
It will include:
- An easy to understand, personalised plan for laying out your garden or landscape
- An individualised palette of landscaping materials put together specifically for your project
- Additional ‘splurge’ items should you wish to give your garden an extra touch of luxury
- Suggestions and suppliers for readily available modular or prefabricated landscape components
- Tips for professional finishing
